The Boys: Season Three (2022) - Review

The Boys: Season 3 is peak television, delivering multiple satisfying arcs, hard-hitting commentary, and a pace that turns dull. Everyone in the season develops in some way, and I mean EVERYONE. It shows how extremely talented the writing team is that they were able to fight 10 plus character arcs in one 8 episode season. The political commentary is bitting, as the show explores subjects with accuracy and humour in how crazy it all is. Through all that is going on, themes on what being a hero means and parents shaping us are woven throughout, and it’s a thrill to watch.  Not to mention the amazing performances from Anthony Starr, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Jensen Ackles, Karen Fukenhara, and literally the entire cast. This season cements The Boys as some of the best TV shows of all time, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
