Nope (2022) - Review

Jordan Peele hits the home run, delivering a terrifying, energetic, beautiful and hilarious film that will leave you talking for days afterwards. Everything is woven together so well, from the amazing script that uses a unique structure that brings together thematic moments with character moments. The tone created by Jordan Peele’s direction is pitch perfect, funny one moment to horrifying the next. The acting from everyone is incredible, specifically Daniel Kaluyaa and Keke Palmer who are so natural as siblings with complete opposite personalities. This is a film so chock full of beautiful shots, thematic devices, and edge-of your seat moments that I was thinking and talking about the film for days after. This film has a vision so well realized, and it’s one of the best of the year.
