Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022) - Review

Minions: Rise of Gru is the probably the most movie of all time. In all seriousness, I just feel so… whatever about the film. It’s not egregiously unfunny, it’s not badly animated, it’s not super boring, it’s just whatever. The pace is fast enough so you aren’t wasting your time and there is always something loud happening so you won’t fall asleep. At least the animation looks good, those animators worked their butts off. But the film is just there, it exists. And it doesn’t strive to be anything more or less. It’s a great example of disposable entertainment, something so bland that it leaves you feeling absolutely nothing afterwards.
