Midnight Mass (2021) - Review

Wow. Midnight Mass is phenomenal. Everything about this is incredible. The acting is incredible. The direction is incredible. The pacing of the episodes is incredible. The writing is incredible. The monologues are incredible. Everything is incredible. I'm going to be repeating the word incredible over and over again because this series is so, so good. I love how the mystery just unwraps over time, and I love how interconnected all the themes are. Themes of death, of rebirth, of religion, of groupthink. Everything is so beautiful, which is hard to believe because this is a horror series and I don't want to give anything away. This series is best watched spoiler free. So if you've never heard of the series, if you've seen it on Netflix before, if you seen the title, if you know Mike Flanagan's other work, I implore you to go watch this immediately. It's hard to put into words, but this series is a masterpiece through and through.
