Better Call Saul: Season 2 (2016) - Review
This series delivers again with Season two, presenting great character focused drama while further developing its supporting cast. The show goes to great lengths to give more depth to Kim Wexler, Chuck McGill, the kid named finger. So much so that that it almost leaves Jimmy in the dust. He’s not bad at all, quite the opposite, and he’s the catalyst for everything that happens the season, but in terms of growth or development, it’s more of an extension of what happened near the end of Season One. The script is still amazing, the performances are amazing, the cinematography and other technical aspects are film quality. The direction here is also great, highlighted through sequences like a montage with Kim and one scene with Chuck near the end of the season. The show continues to be amazing and I can’t wait to see where the story and these characters go next.
