The Mitchells vs. The Machines (2021) - Review

I fell in love with The Mitchell’s Vs. The Machines. The clear passion and style bleed through the screen, and you can’t help but be engrossed. The genre-bending plot is so much fun to watch, and the writing is so quick witted that by the time you finish laughing at one amazing joke, you’ve missed five more. The animation is so energetic, taking the style of Into the Spider-Verse and using it to serve the characters. Speaking of characters, they’re great too! They’re so full of heart and like any family, their differences makes them stronger. When one of the strongest emotional moments in recent memory happened in this film, using a nostalgic song from my childhood, I bawled my eyes out. That is proof alone of how fun, heartwarming, and unique this film is, and it’s one you shouldn’t miss.
