Prehistoric Planet (2022) - Review

Prehistoric Planet is one of the best dino-docs put on the screen. Stealing the aesthetics and structure for Planet Earth outright, the show adds dinosaurs into the mix instead of present day animals to make this series provocative and informative.  The visual effects that bring the dinosaurs to life are near perfect, and the visual language of Planet Earth documentaries add even more to the realism. We get to see these ancient animals live in closest way they may have lived 66 million years ago, from their strategic hunting techniques to their bizarre mating rituals. Some of the segments do become repetitive, but if you are a big dinosaur like me, you are gonna love this one.
