Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) - Review

Paul Blart: Mall Blart is some of the most soulless film making I’ve ever seen, but Paul Blart does fall down, so that’s funny. Every joke in this film is either Paul Blart falls down or a fat joke. It is almost breathtaking how unfunny this film is. Add onto that the brain dead writing with all the cliches you could think of, and the story here is a snooze fest. The film is also so bland looking, obvious studio lighting and boring shot reverse shot make the whole thing just boring. Oh, and did I mention the weird parkour criminals with BMX and skateboards? What a weird and lame addition. This was basically Funny Die Hard. Except without the funny. Or the death. But Blart does go pretty hard.
