Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) - Review
The film is pretty fun satire of reboots and animation, despite the animation itself being kinda weak sometimes. The animation on the “2-D” characters is really off-putting at first, and I couldn’t tell if it was the frame-difference or the poor quality of the animation itself. The meta tale this story tells is obviously cliche, and despite calling out said cliches it still does them, but the movie wasn’t taking itself too seriously so it is ok. Love the little jokes like the cheese, and the bootleg gag. J.K Simmons has an excellent role to as the police captain. It was just trying to have fun, and clearly made for younger audiences, and I definitely a great movie for a streaming service.
