The Northman (2022) - Review

Just like his films before, Eggers balances simple storytelling, beautiful atmosphere, and stellar camerawork to create an experience uniquely his own. It was great to watch this with someone who knew about Vikings and Norse history/mythology. To see them be satisfied by all the research and accuracy to the period was a joy to talk about afterwards, plus all the symbolism made more sense with the knowledge. Eggers' films are stellar and can only be made by him. Please keep making more.
