Paddington 2 (2017) - Review

A beautifully sweet movie. Improves upon the original through opening its heart even wider. The fantastic world that was created is expanded upon with great carnivals and prison locations. The pace is still as tight as before, with each and every character having a pay-off in the final act. What pushes this film higher than the first? The villain for one, Hugh Grant is stellar. And the final moments are tear inducing. It is so nice seeing someone who loves everyone getting that same love returned. Paddington loves his aunt and it makes me cry.
